Stereotypes

In Asian cultures normal stereotypes are based on looks, too dark, big nose, small forehead, skinny, chubby etc.

While in other cultures the normally heard stereotypes are based on ethnic backgrounds, black people, Red people, white people, Asians,Arabs, Africans etc.

If this is so why there is hussle for Identification Documents in particular countries or places??πŸ˜€

Let the looks alone, backgrounds, creeds be the marks of identities!! It would be much easier to call out someone shorty or Mr. Black standing at the counter of some bank or an airport departure lounge. Imagine an awkward situation in being so many shorties, or cubbies, long noses, big bellies etc. Crushing the dignity of oneself.

We don’t understand that looks define biological and cultural geography of a person from where he or she belongs. Particular features are indications of areas people belong to. They should not be marks of embarrassment or shame. Ironically when someone is given a specific name based on appearance, they become so used to hearing it that they don’t find anything wrong with it.

Only those who see within and feel from heart and mind can feel the need for respect all human beings deserve. Adam and Eve were bowed down by angels in heaven due to the great respect they were adorned with.

It’s not so difficult to call someone by a good name. We can highlight their good qualities or good features they posses like: “hey beautiful eyes!”, “charming voice”!!

It’s just a matter of perception, either you see a half glass of water only to quinch your thirst or you see it as not enough water. Choice is yours.

So let’s change the stereotypes by quinching the thirst, not asking for more..

It will make a whole lot of difference… Trust me😊

As the saying goes:

Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder…
